Why I Started This Clinic

I founded Emotions Therapy Calgary after years of watching people struggle with the same frustrating pattern: they'd try therapy, learn some coping strategies, and still feel hijacked by their emotions when it mattered most.

The problem wasn't effort. It was approach.

Traditional talk therapy often can't reach what's happening in your nervous system - the part of you that overrides logic when you're triggered. I built this clinic to bridge that gap, bringing together psychologists trained in advanced methods like EMDR, somatic therapy, and neuroscience-based techniques that create real change, not just temporary relief.

Since then, we've grown to a team of three psychologists and worked with over 500 clients across Calgary. We're still small by design - a practice where you're never just a number on a waitlist.
